Senior Java Developer
My client is a forward thinking organisation pioneering the
way in software development in Dublin. They have a career
opportunity for one Senior Java Developer and one mid-level Java
Developer to help work on Agile greenfield projects (latest
technologies). An above market rate salary will be offered and there
is a generous package in place.
The role involves working as member of
a multi-discipline team across a complete technology stack
rebuild, being capable of taking a development story from the
initial idea through to production quality working software,
thinking independently but also as part of a team.
Rebuilding a large website from the
ground up with brand new technology, this is a fantastic
opportunity. Leveraging akka, play framework, angularjs,
ElasticSearch, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB and AWS, this role requires
the successful candidate to be able to work across the full stack.
Demonstrable experience of developing high scalability, high
throughput solutions using Java is essential.
The technical requirements are as
follows:
*Developing high performance solutions
using Java
*REST API development
*Experience of working with cloud based
solutions
*Experience with an object-oriented
programming language
*Agile development practices
