Senior Azure Engineer – Dublin (MSP / Microsoft Partner)

We are exclusively representing a fast-growing Dublin-based Microsoft Partner & MSP seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to lead Azure management, cloud migrations, and advanced infrastructure projects for their diverse client base.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role with significant project delivery and client-facing responsibility — perfect for an Azure expert who enjoys owning solutions end-to-end.

What You’ll Do

• Azure Delivery & Management:

  • Design, build, and optimise Azure environments, including hybrid setups and cloud migrations.

  • Implement advanced services: identity & access management, governance, automation, and cost optimisation.

  • Deliver secure environments using MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, and Sentinel.

• Project Ownership:

  • Lead client onboarding, infrastructure upgrades, and migrations from scoping through go-live.

  • Act as a technical consultant, producing clear roadmaps and solution recommendations.

• Infrastructure & Networking:

  • Perform server builds and virtualisation projects (Hyper-V/VMware).

  • Configure networking (VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi deployments).

  • Manage firewalls and edge security solutions.

• Escalation & MSP Operations:

  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support and guidance to the service desk.

  • Maintain documentation, standards, and improve MSP tooling/processes.

Requirements

About You

• 5+ years’ experience working with an MSP or IT services provider as a Senior Azure or Level 3 Technical Support Engineer. 

• Expert-level knowledge of Azure design, migrations, and operations.

• Strong background in infrastructure projects, networking, and security.

• Skilled in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and firewall management.

• Excellent troubleshooting ability and client-facing communication skills.

• Confident leading projects from scoping to successful delivery.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect / Azure Administrator

• Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity certifications

• CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP
