Our client is a Dublin based leading consultancy working very much at the cutting edge of information technology within the open source, Lean-Agile, Cloud, and DevOps technology cultures. Due to ongoing expansion, there is a need to hire an experienced OpenStack Engineer to join the Cloud and DevOps division.
The OpenStack Deployment Engineer will plan and implement openstack cloud projects for leading blue chip clients. You will also support clients using open source technologies during project deployments. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with the latest and newest evolving technologies, and implement interesting projects with a host of globally well known companies.
You must have strong LINUX system administration experience, including knowledge of Linux stack and tools. You will have proven ability to script and programme using the likes of Shell, Python, or Perl. Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef are necessary along with OpenStack, CloudStack or other cloud management tools.
Good client facing skills are a bonus, and the ability to work on client site for major deployment projects. You must have the ability to travel internationally, as this role will involve foreign travel.
