Linux Operations Engineer
Our client is a new European startup who are establishing a new technical team in Dublin. Our client is well funded and headed by very experienced founders who have had several startups successes behind them.The company is developing a new, niche online service which is predicted to grow to a substantial operation in a evergreen market. Our client has a marketing and sales team in place in Europe, who are currently generating business prospects for this new service.
We are seeking an experienced Linux Operations Engineer who is interested in joining a startup environment where the opportunity to contribute is unlimited, and who thrives in a role where independence, contribution, and ideas are valued.
You must have excellent Linux hands-on experience especially of working with large deployments. Strong AWS is required, as is Automation Tools configuration, databases SQL/NoSQL, Networking experience, and Continuous Integration.

LINUX – Experience working on large scale deployments of Linux

Amazon Web Services(AWS)

Configuration automation tools (Puppet/Ansible/Chef/Salt)

Database technologies – SQL/NoSQL (MySQL, MongoDB)

Networking expertise, including but not limited to DNS, Load Balancing technologies, NAT & VPN

Continuous Integration tools such as TeamCity,Test Automation and Release Management
