As a knowledge leader, the backend team focuses on the craftsmanship of the software, understanding all the technical areas of the product as well as demonstrating domain knowledge of payment gateways, e-Money and payment system integration.
As the Java Developer, your responsibilities are:

Understanding system requirements as provided in the requirement documents (Business Requirement Document/Functional Specification/Technical Design Document).

Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.

Ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications and regulations.

Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Liaising and attend meetings with project owner(s) or person(s) in charge to perform duties or solving issues.
Skills & Requirements
Requirements:
-
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

At least 5 years’ experience in Java/J2EE web development including Spring, Struts, EJBs, Servlets, JSPs, and web services

Experience in Java Frameworks and Databases

Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, JMS, Ant, Maven and SQL
-
Banking domain experience/understanding, preferably Payment Systems, is a big plus
-
Knowledge of Linux/Unix, JBOSS, Oracle

Good command of the English language

Ability to work independently as not supervised around the clock

Adaptable, meticulous, innovative, independent and self-motivated, with good problem solving skills
