Java Developer Big Data
A leading software consultancy currently has an opening for a Java Developer to join an exciting, expanding Big Data project within the telecoms sector, where cloud based and open source technologies are utilized.
As an experienced Java Developer you will be expected to have hands-on experience with:

Core Java 8
-
Experience or good knowledge of the technologies such as EJB, JBoss Server, JPA/Hibernate, RESTful web services, RHEL/Linux, Maven, Git, Jenkins, JIRA and Python scripting.

Knowledge of Agile environments.
-
Strong experience in design and analysis skills are required.

Experience of parallel computing (multi-thread).
It is beneficial and desirable to have knowledge of the following:
-
Kafka, Zookeeper, and/or Spark knowledge.

UI (User Interface) development using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
-
Experience in Scala, data mining and Hadoop technology.
-
Virtualisation and cloud implementation.
-
Stream processing framework
-
Knowledge of complex event processing.
