Applications Support Manager – Software Support Manager – Dublin
International client with global operations require an experienced Applications Support Manager to run and lead applications support teams. This client operates in dozens of countries globally, with a major technology hub based here in Dublin. The operation is going through a massive modernization of all technology which is creating new interesting projects, with increased scope of the applications support team. 
As Applications Support Manager you will have very engaging, interesting and progressive challenges to deal with. You will run the application support team both from the technology side and also all the people management. Due to the ongoing technology upgrade you’ll have lots of new interesting projects to work on. You’ll also have a strong career pathway forward due to the size of the operation. You’ll work with a nice team of people in a friendly & fun work environment. You must have strong, proven people management experience.


Requirements

You must have strong experience with software support team management or application support team management and also a track record of managing a team, including performance management, mentoring, reward & leadership.

You'll have enough technical knowledge to understand the software landscape, and it is a bonus if you have some overview knowledge of .NET.

  • Strong experience as an Applications Support Manager or Software Manager.
  • Proven experience managing & leading a software support team. 
  • Knowledge of .NET in a general way is useful
  • Excellent people management experience – performance, mentoring, one on ones etc.
  • Develop & encourage a culture of service excellence.
  • Application Support Manager or Software Support Manager experience.


Benefits

You must be based around Dublin or within an hour or so reasonable commute of Dublin. There will be a hybrid remote WFH set up, so you can work remotely from home most days with only 1 – 2 days maximum in the office.
Salary is up to €85,000 with strong annual bonus, pension, health insurance, Life insurance, good holidays allowance, parking, + perks.
